Inside the border of New York State's Adirondack Park, there is a sweep of forest, mountains, rivers and lakes designated in the state constitution as Forever Wild. I guide a slate of year-round activities in the region.

We are now entering high season: mountain season. Plentiful rain has kept the rivers cool, the insect hatches productive and the trout action dynamic. I will be working on the legendary Ausable River near Lake Placid. I'll also be guiding backcountry hikes and mountain climbs in the High Peaks.
