Inside the border of New York State's Adirondack Park, there is a sweep of forest, mountains, rivers and lakes designated in the state constitution as Forever Wild. I guide a slate of year-round activities in the region.

It's now high season. Plentiful rain has kept the rivers cool, the insect hatches productive and the trout action dynamic. I will be working on the West Canada Creek as well as the legendary Ausable River near Lake Placid.
