Inside the border of New York State's Adirondack Park, there is a sweep of forest, mountains, rivers and lakes designated in the state constitution as Forever Wild. I guide a slate of year-round activities in the region.

Early season conditions, with cold high water, prevail on the rivers and creeks right now, but the major insect hatches will begin soon, and good fly fishing with them. My home water is the West Canada Creek, but I will also be working on the legendary Ausable River near Lake Placid. I'll soon beging guiding backcountry hikes and mountain climbs, too.

Sign up today for a memorable adventure. You can keep up with the latest backcountry trip reports on the Facebook page.
